Applewhite was born and raised in BR, so clearly he is the best. I heard Sark was 1/8th Cajun on his mother's side, so he's second. Briles owns a pair of white shrimp boots, so he's third. Then Kiffin cause he stands near St Nick a lot, so he probably got some awesome FB knowledge by osmosis. That last dude talks like a Yankee so he's clearly an idiot.

Scott is the only one that doesn't come with negative baggage.
He has already been mentioned but Lincoln Riley is another up & coming coordinator without the baggage.
I would put Kendall Briles over Art. I don't support rape cover up or someone who played a role in rape cover ups & neither should LSU.

mentored losman and pat Ramsey at Tulane and got them in the 1sr Rd of the draft. Not to mention guys like nick foles, Shaun king etc
Blake bortles has regressed since he left Jacksonville
If not OC, maybe a consultant similar to what Saban is doing at Bama. If not to solely mentor the QBs (Myles Brennan?)
ETA : also a good ole baw from new Iberia

i agree, i do have to add that it sounds like Baylor was killing basketball players and lacking in the title IX dept long before Briles got there.
i also dont know all the facts, going off information thats out there

It basically cost him his job at Texas because the affair was with a female athletic trainer you idiot. Ask Bobby Petrino if shite like doesn’t matter. Would you like to see LSU coaches in the news for such reasons?

As a coach Art Briles by a landslide. I know theres going to be "rape cover up" nonsense, but in terms of coaching Briles is the best by miles.

No but I don't have a high profile job either where such actions can bring embarrassment to my employer or cost me my job. We are discussing potential offensive coordinator hires at one of top schools in the nation. You don't think these guy's backgrounds should come into play here?

The University of Texas' policy for faculty and staff strongly discourages but does not prohibit consensual relationships between staff and students or subordinates. The policy requires the staff member to disclose the relationship to a supervisor and "cooperate in making alternative arrangements for the supervision, evaluation, teaching, grading or advising of the employee, student and/or student employee."
