So like a wink-wink HCIW tag or it's actually in his contract?

How can you be unliked AND bad at your job, yet allowed to destroy a program from the top?

Aranda will be the first person evaluated for HC if/when Orgeron is fired.

He will be pulled aside and interviewed by (hopefully) a new AD.

Not sure I believe the HCIW part.

Everything else makes sense

Please tell me this results in Joe Alleva being fired sooner rather than later.

ETA: Sorry, didn’t see the post above

Has noone questioned why would we offer Ensminger FIRST then offer actual OCs?

Sounds like solid info, thanks for sharing.
E is a trooper and will absolutely do his best to make LSU an offense to be reckoned with once again.
I can only hope it is good enough to last.

Because he wanted Ensminger to begin with.

But it is in his new contract that he will be interviewed? Just seeing if I understand that correctly

Lol it's so fricking sad they even tried this. Just like our lame arse coaching search, one or two candidates didn't work so let's just give up and hire an internal person that has no business being there. In this case didn't even WANT it.
I'm not laughing, I'm and .

Gilbert wanted to bring his own staff in and was turned down. Why? MJ got to go anyway. Robinson and Ensminger (Move him to Admins) are expendable. Cregg just hired. Let Gilbert bring in his Offensive Staff.

No, give it to the BBQ Buddy who doesn't even want the job. That's the definite route to an SEC Championship.

One good thing in all of this though.

It signals the beginning of the end for Alleva and Orgeron. Just a matter of "When", not "If."

He was given a HCIW tag as well.

This just seems useless. Don’t get me wrong, I want Aranda here as long as he’s willing to stick around but he’ll never get promoted to HC. The HCIW title is useful only for a situation where the HC is close to retirement. O won’t voluntarily retire any time soon. Also I don’t think the fan base will accept another promotion from within once O is fired. So is this just a feel-good title?? The best he’ll get is a interim head coach title if O is canned mid season like Miles.
