Good try. But wrong again. Look at your very first post. You claimed Aranda had marks in his contract including HCIW tag. When you realized your goof-- the "marks in the contract" were suddenly a handshake agreement. Gotta call BS when I see it.

ETA-- first post was on 1/8 at 9:20 pm. That post edited 1/9 at 1:29 pm

This was worked around. Basically a handshake agreement that Aranda would have the first interview.

That doesn’t make any sense. First off, a “handshake” agreement isn’t enforceable and if that was what got Aranda to turn down A&M then surely it would be reduced to writing.

Second, who is the “handshake agreement” with? Alleva? He won’t be making the next hire. A new AD isn’t going to be bound by a “handshake agreement” between the prior AD and Aranda.

In the thread I included that with the 2020 SEC part. So I asked them if I should change it to avoid confusion.

None of my info is wrong, no matter how badly you wish it to be. And that is all.

Do you think O is out next year and if so do you think Alleva makes the next hire.

Ive said O lives and dies with Alleva. What people fail to understand for some reason is that no matter who the AD is, Aranda will more than likely still be first up. He is the best fit.

Alleva is acting as if he will still be employed when O gets fired, as he should. It makes perfect sense. Hes set it up to let Aranda take the reigns if O fails.

But I dont see him being around long enough to see Aranda take it.

Any agreement that was made between O , Aranda , and Alleva was made with the intention of Alleva still being employed.

He wasnt thinking "oh ill be fired anyway". Use some damn sense.

That’s fine. I would expect any AD to give Aranda an interview, but that doesn’t make him the HCIW.

If anything he was given a wink from JA saying he would be a strong candidate to be the next HC if he stayed. That would not be something said in front of CEO of course and it would cause a mess off he heard about it.

Winks and handshakes are totally worthless. Some of you guys are naive as hell.

I use the term HCIW because if Alleva were in charge for it, Aranda will be HC. Bottom line.

There’s no way Alleva (or Aranda and his agent) are that naive. Everyone knows Alleva is done as soon as Orgeron is fired.

How did the HCIW "marks in his contract" change to a handshake? Did they erase the marks?

Thanks Ole man. You have no idea what I know of who I am. Nor do you know how close I am to the program. I can assure you, I nor anyone else would share true inside information on this forum. My agenda is simply to call out false information when I know it to be such.

Per NCAA rules, as soon as you slap a HCIW tag on someone they are now limited for recruiting like a head coach. Severely limiting in home visits.

Aranda recruits like a head coach, regarding in-home visits, IIRC. Strategic with their top targets at LB and DB.

So Aranda is dumb enough to stake his future on a handshake agreement with an AD that he knows might not be around for the next hire? I'm sure Aranda, and his representatives, are aware of the heat Alleva is under. If the HCIW tag was really what pushed Aranda to stay, and his agent didn't get it in writing, so it's enforceable no matter who is making the decisions at LSU, that's malpractice and maybe Aranda isn't as smart as we thought.

Your legitimacy is definitely getting a little smelly. I wanted to believe you were real, too. I feel like you've let me down the same way Orgeron did. Thought you were one thing, but you're really something else.

Naw, man. Why do this? HC only gets one in home visit per recruit. Assistants can take one per week. There's absolutely no reason to place unnecessary self imposed restrictions on yourself. Say what you want about Orgeron as a head coach and a leader, but he's not going to voluntarily surrender any edges in recruiting.
