Having a hard time understanding why Lincoln would leave OU if not going to LSU

If he’s not gonna come to LSU then why would he leave for a place like USC. That literally makes no sense. No fan support, nobody cares out there, and they haven’t had a coach succeed in 20 years. He will regret this

He is scared of being exposed…he will turn USC into what OU has been and make the playoffs each year and get blown out the first round…its evident he is a Decent/Good HC/OC in a conference that has shitty defenses…i.e. look what happen when he played teams with an actual defense

TONS of talent and and easy conference to win. Pretty easy choice actually. Especially if he has eyes on the NFL. The road to the championship in the SEC is extremely tough as long as Alabama stays dominant and now Georgia has built a juggernaut. Easy 10 wins a year in the Pac 12.

You go to LSU over USC for practical reasons, ie, it's a good set up to win games
You go to USC for vanity/glory seeking reasons, ie, it's a better, bigger school where you'll have a much higher media profile.
