Has a school ever hired a coordinator from a rival school?

I'm talking like weeks after the schools battled. Not a coach going to the rival school years after being somewhere else.

Brother Bill Oliver going to Auburn from Bama immediately comes to mind. That guy was an institution at Bama.

we hired cooper from south carolina. They arent our rivals, but we played them in 07 and 08 then hired cooper in 09.
Oh shite Billy Gonzales fits the bill, from UF to LSU to Moo State. Recruiting coordinator at UF, passing coordinator at LSU.

Brother coached at AU in 1969 and 1970 then went to Bama in 1971.
So 1997 and 1998 were not Brother's only years at AU.
He coached in the state of Alabama for most of his career.

I said USC isnt our rivals and cooper wasnt a coordinator.
But We play UF every year, they are a rival.
here is the definition of a "Rival"
a person who is competing for the same object or goal as another, or who tries to equal or outdo another; competitor.
So id consider teams we play in the sec as a rival, because by definition, we are competing for the same goal, to win the conference.

Do Ole Miss and Auburn consider each others rivals?
If so, Tuberville
"They’ll have to carry me out of here in a pine box" he said two days before accepting the Auburn job.

Texas A&M hired Emory Bellard as head coach in 1971. Bellard invented the wishbone working as OC under Darrell Royal in Austin.
