Half this fan base is okay with mediocre

Half this fan base is okay wth mediocre as long as we got a coach who has a good personality. I just don't understand how this fan base is okay with getting handled by multiple sec west teams every year. We will slowly get less competitive. The more mediocre seasons the less recruits we get. These are the same people that backed les last year and ruined this season. They will ruin the next three years for supporting o. It's sad that this many fans know so little about football.

I thought it was just the Facebook crowd that was out of control, only to come here and find the same thing. Last week with the loss they were nowhere to be found. Now lsu wins another game they were supposed to, and all you hear is keep coach O.

Agreed. Alleva has to go if deal isn't inked with big name. But then they will want to hire another local boy to be our AD. Hell they may even want to bring les in as ad

Keeping the boat afloat in the interim with a coach O is better than taking a big risk on some the guys down the list.. our top two are clear and if we miss on both, then coach O is a quality solution at that time.. give him a short leash and hope we don't get left at the alter the next time..

I like O as a recruiter and motivator, but he would be an "average" head coach. LSU has already been down that road.
Elite college coaches are gifted offensive or defensive "specialists". LSU must make this type of hire. I personally do not want another average coach.

Half this fan base is starting to become t-shirt fans. They've been trained to expect less and settle with les Miles. People who want Ed O as coach have no clue about football

Whats mediocre is losing to Navy and SMU. THAT's mediocre. Not only losing to SMU, but getting blown out by them. EL OH EL.
