No one had BK on their radar either. If the list truly is that short then they aren't doing a thorough enough search. Bet Freeman, Elko, and Lanning wouldn't have made your list in 2021 either

Yes the list is short. LSU is an elite coaching location. Our list of potential coaches is not going to be as long a a school like La Tech or Southern Miss for example. And yes, Freeman, Elko and Lanning should have been in the mix in 2021. As I clearly said for this year that their is a handful of coordinators that it would make sense to consider.

Was Brian Kelly on anyone’s radar when we hired him? We don’t know who is interested in the job? For example the Georgia Tech coach. Does he have interest? Maybe or maybe not? The point is we won’t know who LSU is contacting and who is contacting them.
