This guy might be the best hire of this year (I am willing to concede Chip Kelly too).

I'll take Morris' 14-22 over O's record when LSU hired him.

Morris did that in 2 years at a program that was 0-12 the year before he got there.

At SMU who went 1-11 the year before he got there. So people who post his record like it's a negative have no clue what they're talking about

O is fixing to win 10 games year one with a horseshite QB.

My god, some of your fanbase. Give him a couple more years, yeesh.

No, but to wanna take Morris over O after the season he just had with a horsehit QB is laughable.

Yes, I know O has two great coordinator's but still.

How many teams out of those 10 actually had a winning record. He was 2-3 against those teams. Sometimes you've got to peel back the layers.

Morris' prior head coaching experience saw him turn around a bad program in 3 years. O's head coaching experience (non-interim) saw him produce zero progress in 3 years.

O went 9-3 against a schedule that only required him to play 5 bowl teams, it's not exactly your typlcal SEC gauntlet.

ETA give Morris LSU's current roster and defensive staff and we wouldn't be playing for Bloomin' Onions.

That and everywhere Ed has been, besides OM, his recruiting is high because of the school/location. You make me a coach at USC or LSU I bet I get more 5* then a coach at SMU.

I think we (Arkansas fans) are happy with the hire.

get out with this BS man. If given the opportunity you'd pick Morris over Orgeron to replace Saban.
