I'm seeing on social media that Ken Whisenhunt (former GT player) is the front runner.

Would be a typical Tech shite-hire.

That sounds more like a veiled arson threat than anything.

LOL, no. My company is involved with their fire protection/life safety.

Gus Malzahn would be the perfect fit actually. Knows how to use a dual threat quarterback. Has recruiting connections established in the SEC.

Please.

Thanks for everything CPJ

I really hope Tech sticks with the Option offense.

Starting from scratch again would be a nightmare and it suits us.

makes 100% sense, because he could slowly morph them into a spread and there wouldnt be any rush to do it, no pressure there and honestly its not that hard of a conference to win... its in a solid recruiting ground and should be a really good job...

I just want to point out that CPJ is ending his tenure at Tech (as of today) with a 58.2 win %.

Gailey, who the CPJ fans universally despise, was 57.9%

Nope, let's hope he's so toxic that no school but a desperate school would hire him.

... A school that he's coached at before, maybe...

(Dear God, please help Rutgers not suck, please please please...!)

As per @ESPNRittenberg, Clemson OC Tony Elliott and Army coach Jeff Monken (who also runs the option) will be top targets as well

Gailey never beat UGA or went to a major bowl

True and true, but in the end for their records to be virtually same it also means CPJs lows were worse than Gaileys.
