So we weren't actually playing poorly?

That's a completely unfounded conclusion. Stop being stupid.

Winning doesn't make you enjoy them?

Out of some guys, yes. Out of others, no. But it is like that everywhere.

are asking if I'm proud of the football team for finishing in the top ten? if so then yeah. is the fact that I enjoy when LSU has success on the football field supposed to be some sort of 'sick burn' or something?

I'm just not good at making jokes. I honestly don't know why y'all get so excited about rankings.

Just to bring up that we weren't as good as the record indicated and that everybody back then knew it.

He's average 10+ wins over the last six years....but you go ahead and pick and choose your times as you see fit

Because they are used to determine who plays for championships

I can guarantee that if Saban were still here and had the same record Miles has had over the last six years you guys would have posters over him tacked to the ceiling above your bed.

do you have any idea how many schools would love to have that? Not to mention he's a great recruiter.

Well, all I know is that when the entire squad was recruited, signed and coached by Les Miles and his coaches, the average record has been 8-4.

lol Uway, we seem to think alike.

I'd be fine with a few sloppy wins in which the teams grinds out on the way to a championship.
But to me enjoying the game is the most important, this isn't the NFL where you would take an ugly win every week; It's college football and it's supposed to be fun.
I also don't get excited about the rankings, except the preseason rankings because they pretty much determine whether or not you could lose a game ans still be in the hunt for an NC.

With that said the only wins I would consider sloppy this year are Tennessee and MacandCheese State. The other games were pretty fun.

Really? Seems like he is averaging 9 wins over the past 3 seasons.

8, 9, 10.

LSU is a top 5 program you do realize this?

Consider Top 10's, BCS National Titles, Bowl Wins

There was a thread comparing OU, UF, LSU, USC, OSU, TU

Most rankings we are 2 or 3 behind Floridia and arguably USC (Not For Long)

Miles vs Saban 2-2. Miles vs Meyer 3-3

I've never seen so much bitching in my life. Some you here
must not have been around during the glory years of the 90's? A little perspective for Gods sake would go a long way.

Fuzzy math, I guess. Sorry

2008 8-5
2009 9-4
2010 10-3 (with a loss to A&M)

9-4 average. I'm still not OK with 4 losses a year. How many of those 9 wins a year were pulled out of out arse right behind the horseshoe.

Troy, Tennessee (too many men on field), Florida (bounced fake), Auburn (D Byrd), etc. I could go on with this, you know it and I know it.

Ok asswipe, I'll play. We also were just a few plays away from being undefeated the past two years so what's your point? Les wins football games. They're not always pretty but he wins.

Please give YOUR "expert" opinion on who the frick you think we could bring here so late in the game.
