why sit here any be so negative when we are literally in the same place we were the past 8 weeks (which was better than the first 4). so, he wasn't the one you wanted, well there is nothing you can about it, may as well look forward to the bowl game and support the team. if it doesn't go well, we'll cross that bridge when we get there

Why do people keep saying this? Fans have zero control over whether or not he "gets a chance". He's clearly "getting a chance", as he was just hired as permanent head coach. It's been about 7 hours since we officially decided to replace our most successful coach ever with a career position coach who has had 1 permanent gig and it ended in colossal failure. Let people vent. It's a message board for god's sake. Just because people don't like the hire doesn't mean they want him to fail or want him to be made a fool of.
