NEVER HAPPEN!

Have to have someone who has experience running a program.

How so?

Clearly he knows how to call a defense.

He's in his first year as a DC. We wouldn't get hired at ULL with that resume much less LSU.

Wow. You are dumb

Yep cause those proven head coaches are sure bets huh

There are no guarantees but you are only saying Sheppard because he played at LSU and you know him. It’s a lazy take passing as “taking a chance”.

As far as “big names” not working, LSU has hired 3 coaches from Power 4 programs, Kelly did not work, Saban and Miles did. It doesn’t have to be that of course. Both Georgia and Oklahoma have had success hiring coordinators with no HC experience but they had more than half a season of experience taking over an established good defense with zero college experience

Kelvin will get interviewed for EVERY nfl opening for the next 7 years...and will listen to all of them

Kelvin won't be a good hire until he gets the NFL itch out of his system

Because I can call out that you don’t know shite just like no one else on this board knows shite, including myself.

So now its crystal clear you really don’t know shite.

Hey look….no one wants Kelvin to find success more than I do but you can’t point to scenarios where first year NFL coordinators with no experience running a program, light it up at a blue blood program like LSU. You may find one or two in the last 50 years but I can list hundreds that bombed. Your assertions are based on what-ifs and emotion so yes I know what WTF I am talking about.

The dude is a defensive coordinator in the NFL. He's one step away from being as head. Doubt he's going to drop that for.a college job.

On a team that odd likely going to make a deep playoff run.
