Im not coming at you corndog. This is on me. I use to be over critical of people in the LSU sports media and the podcasters. Then I realized there job is hard. They put their opinions out there in the open and that’s something I can respect.

if you can't beat them take them right.

Ole Miss Jr.

LSU is a powerhouse elite and they need to take Ole miss's coaches and take their players to be relevant again.. that is where we are at.

I understand doing so, it's just the comedy of it all.

A lot of the coaches and their families love oxford and won't be willing to leave. and to quit on a playoff team.
We will see who leaves and goes , gonna be some hard feelings in this deal

That’s good for us. Can’t have any room for a last minute reconciliation. I want it as toxic as possible.

The first part is hurt feelings, sorry for your loss

Not a fan of how this went down but there’s enough blame to go around with how it was handled

He didn’t quit on the team. Your university kicked him out because he’s leaving.

Your tier C university will NEVER win anything of meaning. At least yall were co SEC west champs in 2003.

So next year we'll be the LSU Rebels. Dont like that nor this mercenary college football. Not even the NFL is this bad.

You realize that he personally has a history of poaching players and staff on his way out the door, right? It's not a hypothetical.

I’m glad you identified yourself as the runt in the pecking order.

The triple A team if you will.

Your job is to develop coaches and players so that when they are ready to spread their wings people like us take them.

And right now you are doing a bang up job of it so kudos.

But Ruffino said he’s reading unconfirmed reports Lane has told assistants if they aren’t on the plane with him tomorrow then they won’t have a place on his staff in Baton Rouge.

If that’s true…it would explain the two plane rumors.

And Ole Miss will hate LSU even more then than already do for a generation.

Imagine if Kiffin comes here and goes 8-4 the next two years. It’s gonna get ugly here too

The rest of my Saturdays for as long as I live will be much more free and relaxing cause I won't watch another snap of FB if the next HC can't figure it out for 14+ mil a year.

I find Ole Miss fans attitude perplexing. He is literally begging to stay and try to help you win before leaving.

This is like an employee giving 2 weeks notice and doing a good job in until the end. Isn't that what most employer's want? Not one who quits without notice.

Maybe Ole Miss can change their mascot again to get their mind off of losing their coach during their best season.

In the NIL era saying this is hilarious. Pre-NIL you might have a point here but thats long gone. They are mercenaries. 3 rings in 25 years and you hung a banner.

I am excited to get Kiffin but if that is true that’s pretty low, to be honest. That’s like blackmail.

Think about it - he probably told them, 'look, it's your call, but I'm taking these coaches with me when I leave. I can take them now, before your playoff game, or after.'
