From more than one source, we keep hearing it's more than just a possibility that Dana Holgorson, the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach at Oklahoma State, will be leaving Stillwater to take over the same positions on the Florida coaching staff. More than one source has indicated that talks with Florida head coach Urban Meyer escalated over the weekend and that it's a distinct possibility that Holgorson is heading to Gainesville very soon. It's an unsubstantiated rumor at this point, but one that seems to be picking up legs by the minute.

I have no idea how that situation would work out for UF, but I would be ecstatic to see him GTFO out of the Big 12 (whether he stays at OSU or goes to UT).

I'd put good money on this not happening.

Exactly. Is Meyer going to turn over the offense to Holgorsen?

Addazio is currently looking for a head coaching gig (Syracuse and Indiana)

Syracuse doesn't need a coach unless Marrone left and I missed it.

This guy would be my top choice to replace Crownton.

Florida's dominance would be re-established if this happened. Would ruin the entire offseason for me as an LSU fan.

This

If Holgerson comes to the SEC all you'll hear is that "his offense won't work in the SEC" BS coming from countless moron's that said the same thing about Steve Spurrier's & Urban Meyer's offense's and well...... all of those people were wrong & theory's smashed to the wind.

Yeah, Les better get off his arse and beat Meyer to the punch or we will probably be stuck behind Florida for awhile in the SEC

pretty sad urban is making a move after 1 year with his clown oc and we are still sitting with gary after 2 terrible years. frick you les.

UF has always had the balls to pull the trigger. Luckily, it worked for them last round. However, there is an advantage to being like Miles. Coaches would much rather work for him, imo.

UF moves on fast and it hurts them recruiting coacehes to come there.

actually, it's Addazio's 2nd yr, but yeah, I wish Les would go find someone else.

and Addazio doesn't necessarily have to be fired for this to go down. they could have co-OC titles with Holgorsen having playcalling duties or some other kinda combo like that.

Scot Loeffler (the current QB coach) though, peace out.
