i was speculating that last week

scary arse combo

if shannon can't find a HC job and will be a DC, i don't see why UF wouldn't try to bury the hatchet with him

holgerson is pretty much the perfect fit for UF. similar offense, but one that brantley could run

rumors are that Texas is backing off him due to him failing the vetting process.

FWIW Holgerson talked to one of our premium guys today and said he has had no contact with Florida. I'm sure that won't last long but the reports of it being a foregone conclusion of him being their new OC seem premature.

Agent talk.

Looking for the best deal he can get.

Does Meyer and Holgorsen share an agent?

hard to see shannon working with urb after the bad blood from the recruiting trail. wasn't urb telling recruits miami was unsafe and in the ghetto?

Coaches would much rather work for him, imo

This has to be the most assinine arguement I've ever seen, yet it keeps popping up, or variations thereof.

Getting fired for having an offense that ranks 90 or worse the last two years and getting run, isn't exactly showing that you're acting like Steinbrenner. Besides what OC worth his salt would turn down the opportunity coach and have access to some of the best skill players in the country?

I can see it now, "Well you're stacked at receiver and running back, have a solid quarterback coming in.......but no, you fired your last offensive coordinator because he was incompetent....I just can't coach here".

Dana will not be leaving for another OC job, he has everyone coming back next year and leaving for another OC job could only hurt his stock. He will NOT leave unless it is for a HC job, and thats fact.
