He's got like a year or 2 left to be set for instate retirement.
You almost never see him get any type of raise, yet he's still there.

Thank god. Best recruiter on that staff, not that it should take a ton at lsu, but glad he is gone anyways.

As good as Wilson is, Orgeron is better. Peveto has been ranked number one in the FBS this year in an assistant recruiting poll, which is very surprising.

I'm sure we will hear plenty of that now that he is gone, but everyone knows how good of a recruiter he is. Before tonight I wouldn't be hearing that.

It goes hand in hand. Frank ruled but having O is huge and IF he is taking over is a great predecessor.

There is no doubt he is a hell of a recruiter. One of the best. He is definitely better than Peveto, but I and many other Tiger fans would tell you that O is better by a nose.

Is it realistic to think that Miles could get Jabbar Juluke?Not being local, I don't know a lot about him. Anyone who really knows him, can you comment on why he would be a great hire, type of guy he is etc.?

You haven't been paying attention. Ed O and BDP have been mentioned a zillion times as awesome recruiters. BDP has been mentioned a ton lately in various threads because of his current recruiter ranking, and the number one reason that Ed was so wildly wanted here by fans was his recruiting prowess, much more than his DL coaching ability.

There will be no step back in recruiting. There was a time where FW damn near did it himself but that's long since past. Go get a young dynamic high school coach from this area and keep on keeping on.. I like Kevin Faulk for he job

I don't think any logical LSU fan would admit to this. If there some who say this they are are part of the delusional portion of the the fanbase. Don't take what a few say to be representative of the entire LSU fanbase.
