We should’ve assumed Saban was a bad coach when he failed at Miami?

Saban had a bit more history of success prior to flaming out in the NFL.

He has zero connections to Brian Kelly and thus won't be hired by Brian Kelly.

He had 1 national title. Just like Joe Brady.

What connection did he have to Marcus Freeman last year

Joe Brady has forgot more about football than you dream to know.

Urban Meyer has won 2 games.

It’s a different animal.

We praised him until went to Carolina, whose best option at QB was 2nd string tier and a constantly hurt CMC.

Bring Brady in as WR coach. He did wonders with those guys. I would be ok if he was OC or him and Kelly game planning together.

Brady success.at LSU had a lot to do with Burrow and his work. But Brady had a lot do with it. You look at Burrow in 2018 he was solid, but nothing spectacular until Brady brought a new playbook. Not to mention the WR work he did.

We hired less miles and at Zero as head coaches and countless doofuses before Saban. Joe Brady would be a splash compared to some of the coaches LSU has hired in the past.

He rose too high & too fast & got in over his head. Dominating with Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, Marshall is one thing, doing it with a poor OL, subpar QB & injury prone RB you're supposed to build the offense around is another.

He needs more experience, the question is can he do it as a college OC with superior talent for a few years(LSU/Oklahoma for example) or does he need to be more of an assistant at the NFL level to figure out how to do it with equal or less talent than the defense you are facing.

I want Brady. I think he’s the kind of influence that Kelly would benefit from.

And I think Kelly would fill any gaps Brady has.
