Nope don't like that

We don't need a dinosaur who will have a cardiac death his first full game in Death Valley. It's not for weak hearts.

Dude would be here 5 years max. Why? No ceiling either. Only decline moving forward.

Not true. We are pursuing no one. We have our coach. It may be him but I seriously doubt it.

Damnit. Woodward you are better than Brian Kelly.

frick. Off. He has the 4th rated class this year at ND in spite of all the restrictions there and is always too 15. There’s no arguing with the W-L record over the last 5 years or even the strength of schedule numbers (check the other thread on him). This was supposed to be a rebuilding year and their only loss was to a playoff team.

I really wonder about some of you guys

They're followers, nothing more. They saw some guy on here with a lot of posts bitching about not wanting Kelly, so now they don't want Kelly either (for no real reason).

Just like all the posters here believed these random fake insiders because they were saying what they wanted to hear when Riley was supposedly coming, and now you'll find a slew of "lol nobody knows anything, Woodward doesn't leak" posts because they're hearing something they don't like.

The posters here change direction like a roomba in a room full of rocking chairs and follow the rumor they like the best, even if it makes no logical sense

Where are his 5* QBs how many has he put in the NFL?

Why is his offense still predominantly like Jimbos only different is Kelly trots out 3 TEs in most sets.

Pretty worthless if you can't win championships.

Good coach

Doesn’t excite me

If we’re going for a cultural reboot give me Campbell

I get that he’s not the sexy hire, but the man wins football games. He’s a proven winner and recruiter. He’s a much better version of Jimbo who doesn’t drop 2 to 4 ridiculous head-scratchers per year.

If there’s smoke from LSU’s side about Kelly, then it won’t be Kelly because nobody knows dick

I don't see how Kelly is a good fit here and neither is Campbell. If I had to pick one, it would definitely be Campbell. At least he has a ceiling left. There's nothing left for Kelly in the tank it only gets worse moving forward as senile kicks in.

We don't need an old arse coach who could potentially die on the field, commit more murder in the locker rooms, or just decides to retire in his first few years. Even worse if he decides he'll get rich and sit on his money with his old age. frick that.

Honestly, that’s my only complaint with him. I think there’s more of a chance that he would open his offense up a little if he moved to the SEC than Jimbo if he came here.

Kelly is probably using this to force ND to give him a raise. If not, though, this would be a very underwhelming hire for LSU. Dude gets fricking rocked in all their big games.

The dude is 100 years old there's no way he's changing his offensive philosophy. He's going to be buried 6ft under with it. He hasn't changed it yet why would he do it now?

Also, another good point. He's the modern not retired version of Bob Stoops.

I'd rather a take a chance on a younger guy like Aranda or Campbell.
