As pointed out earlier, this is just Riley’s agent putting something out there to give him leverage in extension negotiations.

Feldman WORK FOR FOX, aka the Pac-12 is their product. OF COURSE he's going to hype up the USC coaching search.

He already had that with LSU, and then put an end to it last night.
Why would they fabricate additional rumors on top of the existing rumors they just extinguished?

all i can gather from sc making a run at riley is campbell staying put. that tells me he's waiting on ohiost or notre dame and doesn't wanna switch jobs any more than he needs to.

Dont buy it. Feldman was also adamant all week that LSU and Riley wasn't going to happen yet expects us to believe he'd possibly choose USC instead? Not in this world. USC is not the elite job people thinks it is when expectations combined with the handcuffs of the admins are evaluated. If not for those it's a better job than almost anywhere else. Hence why they scramble to find good coaches to hire. They should be turning interviews away yet beg for them instead. Oklahoma is a better job as it stands currently. Would make less sense than jumping to us.

Seems weird of Feldman to put this out after how defiant he was about Riley not leaving OU.
