He is coming off as too pompous and uppity even for other Ole Miss people
I have read Cold Mountain and it is a well written novel, but you need to come off Charles Frazier's dick and come up for air.
And we are all proud of you for getting your English degree from such a prestigious university as Ole Miss

It can mean of or related to semen, so if that's the kind of thing you're into then sure, fap away.
It can also mean something which plants seeds for something later. E=MC^2 is a seminal equation for quantum physics, for example.
