Avoiding a losing season has to be important to him.

I am told the same thing. I will say that, if it is the contract I am hearing, aTm is way overing paying like they always do.

Could ypu imagine the A&M uproar if we beat them next year with Jimbo and we have O? Oh god. I will be laughing so hard.

Jimbo isn’t a miracle worker. This roster isn’t capable of beating LSU in 2018

A&M made the same decision Michigan made with Harbaugh. Are they overpaying? Only time will tell.

hes the best available coach who is willing to leave. he is going to cost money. they idea that "he will cost too much to only win 10 games a year and give them a chance to win the conference every now and again" is just so dumb

Good point. Harbaugh shows over-spending for a HC doesn't equal success.

Well no shite

I still stand by my opinion that wanting A&M to do well under any circumstance is about as retarded as it gets

They're A&M. They'll crash and burn after giving a raise and extension. Who gives a shite about the short term? This should be a marathon, not a sprint.

You don’t know that..

But living in reality, Jimbo's a far superior coach to Orgeron and that will likely become apparent if he's indeed named the coach at A&M.

I think y’all are taking what I said out of context

I never said that O > Jimbo, I just think that wishing for A&M to have success just so you can prove alleva fricked up the coaching hire is stupid

JP Peterson? @JPPetersonSprts Follow Follow @JPPetersonSprts More Just spoke with a well connected booster and someone inside the FSU Athletic department. Jimbo is gone. Expect an announcement today. He will not coach the final game. FSU has not recruited in a month. Class is falling apart. Totally unprofessional but not surprising.

hasn't recruited in a month

He wants to coach in it, but the administration is pressuring him to give an answer that he will be back next year and he's not going to do that until the games are over on Saturday.

What freaking more can you ask for. Win 10 games a year and hope for a couple of breaks
Well, we are on pace for 10 wins for way cheaper, so I guess you could ask for that.......

yeah i don't think jimbo is a grandslam but he certainly is an upgrade from sumlin. don't think we'll be able to count on that automatic win against aggy anymore.

Jimbo sounds burnt out as frick. But hey, Aggie was able to revitalize Chief so I am sure Jimbo will get a jolt of energy

Its been suggested that he made up his mind that he was leaving back in september and that may have been a leading cause of this season turning into a dumpster fire

So he’s a shitty person? And also an overrated coach? Good luck ags.
