He's overqualified to be a coordinator. And, he's getting up there in age so another head coaching job at a big school probably won't happen.

My guess is that he does some TV work or simply retires. A school like Vandy should be all over him.

According to the Maryland radio announcers, Friedgen has told them he wants to join his buddy Frank Beamer's staff down at Virginia Tech. So I see him being the next Virginia Tech offensive coordinator. He's worked in the ACC for most of his coaching life and I don't see things changing at this point in his career.

That would be scary, even more so becuase I hate Tech.
