The one thing that jumps out to me about Mullen is that he is 1 and 13 v. ranked teams (AP) in 3 years.

However, he does seem to have MSU headed in a better direction than they were. He just hasn't gotten over the hump of mostly beating bad teams and losing to almost all of the good teams.

i agree. this and seeing his childish shite with ole miss and his generally bitchy attitude completely turned me off. hell if we lose with richt at least he conducts himself in a respectful manner

Mullen was building a program- We were 3-0 vs Kentucky and Mississippi- we hadnt done that before. He picked us up off the bottom and moved us into a middle of the pack SEC team.

The SEC West is insanely good right now. If he had gotten the job in 2006- he would probably have an SEC West title- the big boys struggled for a few years- hell, that even let the Mississippi Bears win a little.

Just bad timing with LSU, Bama, Cam Newton, and UPig being as good as they have been

I want Jim Mora. His insight into a college football playoff would be dynamite.

When you dont usually do that- it's a big improvement- even you could understand that. You dont go from being one of the worst in the SEC to a conference power in 3 seasons

The hell? We smashed you then with one of our best teams in our history. 4 1st rounders on that team. You're state and that's all you will ever be. No amount of grinding will get you over the hump till you make changes on campus. Talk all you want about dirty recruiting, but in the end your HC is just a terrible recruiter and personality.

We miss out on Quay Evans and some other Defensive commits.

I hope Hud works his arse off in the homes of recruits if and when he gets hired. Ive met him before and he is a cool dude that seems to have that downhome charm and personality it takes to land big recruits.
