I can't relax because I fear it will be a mediocre hire like a Campbell or a Fleck or a Mark Stoops or a Napier.

Plus, you are convinced it is Aranda, and you're extremely high on Aranda. I'm not sold on Aranda YET because I haven't seen enough time/experience with him as a head coach.

Bro I’m sorry but if you don’t think Matt Campbell isn’t every bit as good, or better, than Dave Aranda, Billy Napier, Mark Stoops, whoever it is after the top 2 then you don’t follow football. Matt Campbell is a beast of a coach. He is @ ISU for starters, secondly he coaches 3 stars to 5 star potential. I’m sorry but Matt Campbell is FAR from a scrub dude.

I disagree. He and his 3 star players have still lost games that they should not have lost. That is Campbell's responsibility. The big 12 is very weak. Campbell is above average, but he is not the guy to build a (Saban-type) dynasty at LSU.

Keep Mullen as far away from my program as possible - that smug sonofabich. I would enjoy Herman as OC though. I know you believe Aranda is Woody's hire. Do you believe they intend to bring in Herman?

I’m sure Matt Campbell is a great coach but I’m not convinced he is a great QB developer because from the games I’ve seen brock Purdy play - that dude flat out sucks

If course they’ve lost games, they’re at a severe talent disadvantage. Look at the times Campbell hasn’t been competitive in games? It’s very few, and Matt fits the mold of a Jay Johnson type hire. Are you upset with Jay and the baseball program? Exactly! Woodward will make a good hire.
