Elko would've won more at Duke if Riley Leonard stayed healthy. Best hire for aTm.

I've been at Duke for grad school the past few years. He's completely elevated this program to the next level.
People acting like 7-5 at Duke with a second string QB, is easy. Duke's defense has been SEC caliber this year. Their games with ND and UNC came down to the last minute, and thats without Leonard being 100%.
Personally, I think Elko is the hottest name out there right now currently at a stepping stone school.
As an LSU fan I've been worried about this exact scenario.

Imagine how many games he wins with prime Vick, Moss, and Megatron. Dude's a beast in games played as a thought exercise.

If Connor Weigman didn't get hurt this year? Or started from the beginning last year?

I'll be interested to see how he does without older players. Only 4/22 on the first string depth chart this year at Duke were true Juniors or younger. The whole OL was a senior or Grad transfer.

Elko is a really good hire, what he did accomplished at dookie was amazing until his qb got hurt. Those kids played hard for him from day 1. Give him top-shelf players and he will get the most out of them and win a lot of games at A&M imo.

Elko was at Duke! He will have a much better roster and should get the team to compete. Fisher wasn't into it since he just played Texas A&M. Texas A&M is in better hand with Elko as the HC.
