You can say Peetz got the better of Elko but let's be real. That Max Johnson pass was an act of god.

LSU making an Eiko hire should have no bearing from LSU game. He has been an excellent DC at TAMU that rebuilt a shite defensive program recently to great.
That said, makes no sense for him to leave. TAMU will match every dollar we offer. He'd have to hate being there which is believable with the fAggies around him.

Freeman is definitely the preference. But if he falls through I have no clue who Kelly will go after.

Except LSU may offer better championship aspirations than Aggie with Kelly, personal preference if money is the same.

Elko has no reason to leave until he becomes a HC. Freeman seems unlikely given the opportunities likely coming his way.
Both would be home runs but the search will need to be broadened. BK actually knows how to hire good assistants unlike O. He’ll find a great DC and SW will give him the budget to make it happen.

You're not asking me, but I'll answer anyway.
They were the result of an obvious mismatch, AND
LSU attempting to max protect with TEs and RBs not capable of blocking the defender, which resulted in the defender being closer to our QB
