LSU needs to do whatever it takes to keep Crowton. He always manages to find the right play for the right player at the right time. The option to the short side is a perfect example. Everyone expects you to run it to the long side of the field! Thats the genius at work that we all will miss if this catastrophe comes to fruition.
Moreover, Jefferson's development as a QB will most likely go to shite. He has just started to hit his stride, as evidenced by his performance in the Cotton Bowl, and I strongly doubt that any other QB coach could produce similar results as Crowton has done with Jefferson.

I Feel as if i am losing a father.
A father that promises to show up to all my sporting and school events then i find out he was too hungover to make it out of the house, and really never had the intention to do so in the first place. But a father non the less.
So when are we to expect multiple threads about watching for planes swooping in to take him away?

I cannot find the words to describe the awesomeness that is Gary Crowton. And while none of us can deny the strong emotions that we are feeling at the thought of losing our beloved OC, we must accept that moving on is in his best interest. His meteoric rise cannot be stifled by continuing to work under the tyrannical reign of that ogre, Les Miles. Remember, if you love someone, you have to let them go.
