Also, it has not been mentioned but we must consider the impact losing Gary will have on recruiting.
Every recruit wants to play in his offense. Gary's ties and connections to hotbeds like Utah, Oregon, and New Hampshire will be sorely missed. If Gary takes this job, Maryland will be raping New Hampshire for their recruits. You have to be worried if you are a wildcat fan (that is the mascot of New Hampshire, BTW).
Gary to Maryland is just like Saban to Alabama for New Hampshire fans. Their worst nightmare is coming true.
