No amount of money will keep him at Ole Miss when the right opportunity for him opens up. That much we do know.

You base that off of your experiences living here? Or did you get that from Fox News?

I don't watch Fox, but I know enough about your city to realize it's a current shithole. Sadly it was actually a cool place prior to the WTO riots.

Trashy, homelessness, crappy people. I can see how people would prefer the bucolic lifestyle in Oxford.

First off, I don’t live in Seattle. I’m not a fan of living there per say. Some of which are for the reasons you listed.

Secondly, most people that have money live on the Eastside; Mercer Island, Medina, Kirkland to name a few.

Even though only 5-8 miles away from the city, it’s a huge culture difference to say the least.

At the end of the day to each their own. I just simply cannot comprehend how many would choose Oxford over Western Washington.

Oh, I can. Particularly if you're middle class. Progressive cities priced them out years ago.

He would just do what every other rich person that moves to the area does and live on the water in Bellevue/Kirkland. Great area to live if you can afford the $5+ million house. Then he can avoid all of the Seattle problems and drive a boat to work to avoid traffic.

I get it. But you have to transit the city, and when I was there a couple of months ago the trash was inescapable. That shite grinds on your psyche.

Used to be my favorite city, by far. I just don't know how you fix that. Maybe thats my issue, knowing how awesome it was.

Transit the city? Husky Stadium is right next to the Evergreen Point Floating Bridge which connects Medina/Point Cities, Bellevue, Kirkland, and Redmond to Seattle. Basically you transit one city block and you are on campus. Rick Neuheisel took a boat to work.

I don’t think he’ll leave OM until something better in the SEC opens.

Exactly! Water front home on MI or Medina. Go out to your dock, hop in your boat and head on over.

Kiffin isn’t going to a weak PAC-12 unless it’s USC or Oregon.

Leach said recruiting in Washington sucked. Visiting most recruits required going to the airport and getting on plane.

Leach doesn’t like recruiting, if you haven’t noticed.

Seattle is pretty, but it's leftwing to the max, the taxes are skyhigh, and the cost of living is through the roof. Give me the south everyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

None of that matters to a guy who already has more than he can ever spend. Someone with frick you money can carve out a pleasant lifestyle anywhere .

At any rate coaches are nomads. They go where the opportunity is. Everything else is secondary.

Oxford is awesome, one of the coolest places in the south. I’d love to live there

What an arrogant, elitist attitude. You sound just like an insufferable leftwinger.

Leach coached in Pullman, which is a small agricultural community surrounded by wheat fields near the Idaho border. Look at a map. It’s far away from population centers.

Meanwhile the University of Washington is in Seattle, one of the largest metro areas in the country.

Seattle isn’t even in the top 10, and there are 5 cities in Texas alone that are bigger. Indianapolis has more people.

Hyperbole much?

Lots of natural beauty up that way. Cooler weather than Mississippi. Girls not as pretty, which for Lane is probably a deal breaker

Seattle is either #12 or #13, and growing fast. Plus city population is irrelevant, it is metro population that is more important as city limit lines are arbitrary. Seattle would be the 3rd largest (by a few million) if it was in Texas.

Metro Seattle has 5 milllion people.
