Ole Miss is a better job than UW at this point.

I think the PAC 12 might be pretty much done as far a football goes. As soon as Christobal leaves Oregon, they're down there with the Big XII and ACC. They just don't have the priorities to compete in football. Oregon will stay fairly relevant because of Nike, but the rest of the schools will continue to suck.

He wont leave for UW. He will stay and end up at Texas in a year or 2 at the most.

The only way Washington hires him is if LSU doesn't hire him first.

Oh you did it now, Micro12Tiger rant about Kiffin being the greatest coach of all time incoming...

It's better than hearing your rants about Lincoln Riley somehow leaving OU to move to LSU.

Ole Miss will never be a better job than Udub in any capacity. Lane will not win the SEC at Ole Miss. He could absolutely win in the Pac12. Way more money, way better quality of life that Mississippi lol.

Seattle is pretty, but it's leftwing to the max, the taxes are skyhigh, and the cost of living is through the roof. Give me the south everyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

Give it a couple of weeks and it will be LSU.

I've been to Seattle many times. It's beautiful and it rains all the time, but nonetheless, it would be a horrible place to live.

Point 1 - Correct

Point 2 - Correct

Point 3 - Incorrect. Washington has no state income tax.

Point 4 - Partially correct. If you live outside King County, the cost of living is pretty decent. Gas where I live is about $3.69/gallon which, while not great, is better than $4.45/gallon in Seattle.

Why would he leave Ole Miss? Their expectations are not 10 win seasons. If they can beat LSU 1 out of 4, Miss state 3 of 4, then they’re happy. He can have an occasional 10 win season and keep getting raises.

At this point, just making a bowl game is success in Washington. Not only that, but there should be no realistic excuse for losing to anyone but Oregon in conference (MAYBE Utah).

But he can do the same at OM and the SEC is where the money is at. I see your point but I think he stays put fir at least 4-5 more years.

Lane Kiffen makes $4.5 Million/season at Ole Miss.

Since it is in Mississippi, he takes home $2,535,117

Compare that to Washington, with NO state income tax and you get $2,759,492

In simple terms, for every Million you make in Washington State, you keep 63.7%.

For every Million you make in Mississippi, you keep 58.7%.

If Washington offers him $6 Million/season, he would take home $3,669,242.

Ole Miss would have to counter with $6.54 Million/season just to MATCH that in terms of take home income.

He'd leave if he wants to win something meaningful. Ole Miss hasn't won shite since Desegregation
