think the worst case scenario for LSU fans is if Auburn wins the Iron Bowl, and all A&M needs is a win over lowly LSU to clinch the West to go play Georgia with a potential CFP berth on the line, and lose. Then Woodward has a press conference 2 days later to announce Jimbo the new LSU coach
We’re not talking about this scenario nearly enough because it could totally happen. Not going to happen unless Nuss takes off, but if he does things get interesting with Jimbo as a candidate.

That would be a horrible look lol.

I don't see how the game has an effect one way or the other to be honest.

Is there anyone who wants Jimbo as head coach? I haven't spoken to a single person who likes the idea.

The aggies will not lose to Ole Miss nor LSU....as much as I love the tigers, there are just too many issues for this group to maintain a high level of competing.

Would he? Other than that 2012-2014 stint at FSU, where has he “killed it?”

ETA: he ran FSU into the ground. They stilll haven’t recovered

Anybody that says the rant isn’t the most entertaining sports site is nuts.

You consider it frustrating that the fan base doesn't want a coach who has accomplished nothing but underachievement in the past 8 seasons?

People tend to forget, they will probably lose at Ole Miss tomorrow and will be completely out of the SEC West race.
Then after we beat them, he will be 8-4

He won 10 games the next two seasons after that, and just won an orange bowl with A&M. They are rolling right now.

The Hate for Jimbo is so stupid. .

Dude - He left FSU in the same spot that LSU is in now. It’s not hate, it’s reality. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.

I think the more appropriate question is Does LSU need to win it’s current Title IX suit and/ or the ongoing investigation by the NCAA for a successfully employed coach to go to BR? At least some of you must be willing to admit that the culture of the program is going to have to be completely rebuilt. I just can’t see an old coach on an upward trajectory wanting to take on that albatross.
