normally it would but this is really an NCAA issue that they have created with the early signing date and the transfer portal date. If kids aren't loyal to the school and can opt out at any time even though they are being paid and can transfer every year, then due to the way the system is set up I do not have a problem with a coach leaving after regular season if they think they have a better opportunity. Stinks if team is in playoff and all but this is the monster that the NCAA has created.

I agree with you about Miles but maybe he is getting screwed around on things we know nothing about?

Does it bother you that you don’t understand reading comprehension? It is obvious that Ole Miss has told him he must complete the regular season. He wants to complete the regular season. He wants to coach into the playoffs. Ole Miss is not going to let him coach the playoffs. What part of that don’t you people understand?

Its a better opportunity which comes with success. There is no easy way to do this.

Yes, it bothers me immensely. However, as proven by the vast majority of responses to your question...it does not bother most here. I have determined this to be due to the fact that douchebags obviously can't hate on the douchebaggery of others or it would then reflect negatively on their personal douchebaggedness. Therefore I have concluded with a relatively high level of confidence that douchebags love them a douchebag.

He is a douchbag IMO but LSU football isn't running a day care. And even the ones you think are good guys frequently are just putting forth a fake image for looks. At least you know what you're getting with him.

I don't know what other option either party really has.

If we hire Sumrall, he could be walking out on a playoff team too.

The timeline is fricked.

He won’t be leaving ole Miss…they will give him enough money and perks to stay.
Not as much as LSU or Florida .
But he will have the chance to win a national championship now against maybe never….

Give me a break. What if he has a desire to coach at LSU and now may be his only opportunity? Why would you judge a man without walking in his shoes? Jesus

Bama Ohio St Texas Maybe an argument for UGA or AtM

What’s “greener” about all of these over LSU?

Bama? Our NIL is stronger and no AU to compete with, Saban is gone

OSU - North and on par with Top 5 - no opening anytime soon

Texas - Lots of $$, sure - there’s a reason Saban didn’t go there

Aggie -

UGA - No opening nor will there be anytime soon.
