As for LeBeau, his future remains in question. Rapoport noted that both the Titans and Cardinals have emerged as the most likely landing spots if the coach takes another job. Elsewhere, the consensus is that LaBeau was forced into retirement, but this report confirms that his departure was voluntary. Not that it makes a damn bit of difference. It is HIGHLY unlikely LSU / The Hat (or any NCAA school) can land this whale.
Who knows. He was quoted saying he wanted to stay. But that could have been a mis-quote or could have meant I wanted to stay but so and so is an a-hole and I'm not putting up with this shite...

This thread is fun just for the pure entertainment value of all the dick jokes, but AggieFan was taking it seriously when I poked my head in (hah!) over there on Saturday. They were actually starting to go apeshit over this thread and our completely fabricated idea that LSU may hire a football god to take the place of that pissant coordinator they poached. That was entertaining in itself--almost to the point where I was hoping some semi-legitimate source would float the LeBeau-to-LSU idea and give it some (fleeting) gravitas. That could lead to College Station street riots at the rate they were going...
