The way he described his recruiting ability, he sounded like the perfect fit for Orgeron's needs.

It seems like the 3 names that are most prominent now are Mason, Freeman and Nielsen.
My preference would be:
1. Freeman - LB coaching experience. We already have Davis for DL
2. Nielsen - did great as DL coach at NO
3. Mason - Wealth of experience, but results may be skewed due to Vandy

He has def line. Exp, Some def coordinating experience, recruiting experience, as well as former ties to O at ole miss, not sure about USC.

To be fair, the Saints defensive line is great because they have invested a shite ton of draft capital into their line.

I love the idea of Freeman, but why Nielsen? What has he shown to be a top DC? I’m not understanding the love for this guy.
