Not even sure what this means.

Cincy had plenty of "swag" when their basketball program was rocking Jordan brand unis, and Huggy Bear was sporting three-piece suits and mock turtlenecks on the sidelines.

What could be unattractive about a football program that has won multiple conference championships in the last 15 years, been to multiple major bowls including the CFP, and is now headed to a P5 conference?

Prime loves Prime more than anyone that has loved anything on earth.

USF is a complete rebuild with the very limited talent on defense. I doubt he has the patience to suffer through L’s to Tulsa/East Carolina and people “whispering” about it taking too long to do that. His ego won’t let it happen.

Colorado is also so far away talent wise from even being a 6-6 team (still needing three PAC-12 wins a year + cupcake non-conference lineup).

Cincinnati has the talented roster for the AAC. However, they are headed for the Big 12. Will Prime’s ego let him watch TCU or Baylor put 60+ up on him Year 1?

I thought he was coaching at Jackson State because he was called there by a higher power.

He's a clown because he said this:

quote:

"I'm pretty certain that this is why I'm here," Deion Sanders said. "I'm pretty certain that this is why God led me here to Jackson State University, HBCUs and the SWAC. I'm pretty certain that's why. I tried to tell you. Nobody wanted to listen, you thought I was just running the mouth and it was not that. I truly believe ... Everything I've done in my life I've provoked change. Why not now?

It was never this, it’s ALWAYS been only about Deion. A tiger cannot change his stripes.

He has generational wealth for him and his family, he could have been this generation’s Eddie Robinson. But the Black community has been played by one of their own, yet again.
Look at that quote, look at it. He invokes the color of his skin, his race, and his God all in one sitting.

Prime has proven he can recruit kids to anywhere. You don’t bring in the #1 player in the county to a fricking SWAC school without having that ability.

If Colorado promises to get behind the football program, they can be a winning program. Prime can recruit kids from California, Texas, and Florida. The west coast has plenty of kids to choose from to bring in.

They’ve won before. Will just take the right recruiter and stability to win at Colorado. And Prime could do it, IMO. Would bring half his roster with him from Jackson St just to start.

I’d change my stripes too if my employer can barely get running water to my facilities. Gtfoh with that nonsense. Who takes coaches words through the media?

The real question is does Travis Hunter follow him, or does he head to FSU? Chances he stays at Jackson State if Deion leaves is zero.

If all those things fell into place, how many years to start before Prime is competing with Utah/Oregon/USC?

He is all about his image so I imagine he will bounce before the bar is raised to do that and could possibly fail.

Just like, if he really wanted to elevate HBCU and Jackson State, he would announce next year’s goal is clear:

“Jackson State has received a generous corporate donation that would cover a potential missed Celebration Bowl payout and we will be competing for a FCS National Championship in 2023”.

USF is FSU spelled backwards. Do the math.

USF has a higher up side.

Cincy has been a great stepping stone for a while. 4 of their last 5 head coaches got better jobs. Tuberville is the only person that couldn't win there.

If Deion can get the Cincy job he should take it. It's a supported, successful football program that is moving to a Power 5 conference.

So, is that likely to take away some top recruits from some SEC regions?

Or get North Dakota State to the Celebration Bowl

They made it to the playoffs. It’s the obvious choice.

A 247sports guy on Twitter is saying that he got off the phone with Deion and said that none of this stuff about these other jobs is true.

That part is true. See what happened was, he got to Jackson State and honestly did a lot of good.

Deion then called up Higher Power and said "Hey bruh, how do you like what I've done with the place?" Higher Power replied "Impressive my son! Sorry your vehicles keep getting burglarized." Deion replied with "About that, I did what was asked, how about getting me TF out of Jackson, Mississippi." Higher Power said "Say no more fam, sending you 3 hats."
