Not sure about 'should' but definitely 'could have'. Regardless that game had to open some coaches eyes who had either been contacted or had never wanted to pursue it. What should have been a blowout literally went to the last play of the game. For all of the circus acts LSU has a ton of talent.

Forget Napier. He needs to prove that he could do it at a P5 level school before LSU come calling. Napier got too much risk for failure than a current, proven P5 hc.
