Right, because he has all that talent to work with at Baylor…….

He isn’t a failure.

Chavis started to suck when college football and the SEC went to basketball on grass. Aranda and Chavis coached in 2 different eras of LSU football.

Saban went 9-2 and finished No 7 in his last year at MSU. The program was on the rise.

Aranda is 5-4. They went 3-9 in 2023.

At least hire a coach that is trending up.

Anyone who would settle for Aranda at head coach is an absolute idiot.

I’ll assume you don’t actually watch college football and only just lsu

Right. They want to hire a coach that is about to get fired. Make it make sense.

Then why are they firing him? If the next coach cannot get talent then just keep Aranda.

LSU is 6 years past competing for NC's. The problem is still thinking you own a new car, when it's 6 years old.

Aranda doesn't have the talent on off or def at Baylor, that he would have at LSU. DA can coach defense and hire a top notch OC.

He also makes less than $5mil which lowers risk if it comes to that

The similarities are uncanny

Dave's in a hard place to recruit. Too many D-1 programs, some very above average, not to mention the Baylor overall religious mindset. Les owned LA, had a lot of Texas and Midwest connections, and could charm the skin off a rattlesnake
Les took off after yr 4, dont think Dave is going to get that chance in Waco
