Don't think daronte will be back.

Wish they would just let him coach the secondary.

I wish him the best of luck in his next job, but I don't want him back at LSU next season, unless it's as an analyst or in an administrative position.

Some of yall need to get a grip and not be swayed by blitzes recommended by Kiffin....

Good luck to Jones at his next job.

LSU deserves better as a Coach and Recruiter...

Based on the fricking fact LSU is not a training ground for coordinators. That is what! Send his arse packing!

Coach Jones has done a great job under really bad circumstances, and I hope he does well the future whether or not that is at LSU or somewhere else

He was a NFL DB coach who came recommended by Dave Aranda. He may not have been ready to be a DC, but I would say that makes him a good candidate as a DB coach. Kelly looks like he may be looking for a better/more experienced recruiter for the role, but I trust him to find the right fit for his staff either way.

Wow u really believe that. He drew them up with O in the sands of Destin and sent test pics to Jones. What’s wrong with people?

I would like Daronte to stay on in some capacity, but we really don't have time for him to figure out how to be a DC. Maybe a world in which he and Cooks have specific duties with the secondary. I'm sure Daronte is shooting higher, though. He will be a DC one day.

Peetz was an NFL coach recommended by Joe Brady I’d take moron O’s interpretation of “recommended” with a grain of salt because it sounds like he was hearing what he wanted to hear

Kiffin was not calling plays that help Bama offense in check. Jones has some stuff and it took Kiffin going to O to get out of the way. Our backups turned into good looking players under Jones the last half of the season.

This is no longer an audition for Jones. But, shouldn't every coach be viewed the same way? You hire them and if they don't do well you fire them. I would be fine if we kept Jones unless we replaced him with a quality known DC.

Like Jones, Peetz may be a solid position coach who just wasn’t ready to assume play calling duties. The fact that they failed as coordinators does not mean they aren’t good position coaches.
