Tons. Up until Chavis left all the insiders and experts were saying no chance he was leaving and how he just wanted to remove the Les Miles clause.

Because Brick signed his extension, they would have to pay his buyout, whatever it is, on top of Orgeron and a new DC. Maybe that is a sticking point. Maybe they are worried about staff discord if they dump Brick. That could be an issue if it affected another key recruiter.

You guys also need to keep in mind that CP may be getting interest from the NFL. He's been an NFL DC and was a paid consultant while off this year. It's that time of year. If he pulled his name, that could be why.

I doubt bricks buyout will cripple the program.

all this means is that Culotta has a BBI subscription and then JD retweeted.

Culotta and Ponamsky obviously have a direct connection to Orgeron. It's logical to think that they have a good view of the situation.

Wouldn't be totally unthinkable that Bebe has been told to mislead them for some reason

With the amount of misinformation and outright lies that have been reported so far during this search I could believe that.

I agree, but tell that to Alleva. He seems to be a penny pinching bastard right now.

That's also why I said maybe it's about the rest of the staff and the relationships there. It's easy for us to say "dump Brick and get O," but it may not go down like that with the rest of the staff.

They are supposedly all meeting tomorrow it will be interesting to see what news comes out afterward.

Any reason as to why he would remove his name from the list?

Is it because we didn't hire him sooner?

No. I'm not an insider, but it has been thrown around on the Rant today. TIFWIW.

If yall want we can chip in a few bucks to help hire a relevant DC, since it appears to be going so poorly. One of these days the LSU DC job will no longer be a stepping stone.

Man with all that money yall spent on Sumlin............money vs results don't mean much in Aggie land you got UHs leftovers and paid triple for nothing

I think I'm done wasting my good Scotch on Les Miles.

Might switch to Wild Turkey or Canadian Hunter next season.

Or back to Beam or Jack and a splash of Coke. Got me through the Hallman era.

Yeah yeah. You just better hope ATM has and gets a ton of 4 and 5 star defensive players. Chavis is good when he has the top players to work with. When he doesn't, he plays it so soft it's awful.
