Let's say that you're not happy with your current job. You are putting feelers out there for a better one, but choose to hang on to your current job in the meantime. Somebody asks you in front of your current boss, "______ how do you like your job here?"
Would you not give the same type answer, "I love it here- wouldn't trade it for anything else."

The only thing he carries for sure is his high dollar contract. seeing as how miles is here just because of his love for lsu, i wonder how he would feel about lopping off those future years on his contract ? think the love would be quite as strong ? miles is here, and like the other poster said, he will retire from LSU, or get fired from LSU. i can't imagine him getting aonther sweetheart deal like he has here.

They were waiting outside the press room in war memorial too. I wouldn't read anything into it. Crowton was first out of the locker room onto the bus though

Were they attending to witness his last conference at Tiger Stadium?
Hmmm.
You know, in his final concert before he died, Elvis brought his dad up on stage and introduced him to the crowd...something he'd never done before. Some people think he may have had a premonition that this was his last show.

I'm not saying he does or he doesn't, but NO ONE is stupid enough to talk bad about the team they are coaching for if they still want to get a paycheck even if they are planning on leaving. Will no one is stupid enough except maybe Jim Mora Jr.

I'm pretty sure that Miles really loves it at LSU. I think his time in college is running short.. and it has nothing to do with his short comings as a coach IMO.
I think he's just tired of the expectations and after 2-3 more years he'll retire.

Fixed it for you.

I am not saying that it means that he isn't going to leave and that everything he says he truly means. If you take the things he said since he has been here, the way he acts and has seemed to have really embraced LSU, one could believe that it is not likely that he will bolt.
Also considering the massive amount of money he is making.

Are you sure that he never introduced his father before the last concert on June 26, 1977?
He introduced his father at a concert on June 21, which was erroneoulsy dubbed his last concert for the TV special shown on October 3.

It has been stated that miles has some recurring health issues that could possibly have him thinking about retirement in the next couple years

i hope we keep miles. Good for the school and good for college football.

He had that brain cyst a while back and he wore a jacket during games in 90 degree weather this season.

i think miles to colorado has more legs than a lot of rantards want to believe
Wrong, and here is why
Recruits at Colorado can only stay a day to tour on their officials , and that is a deal breaker.

Miles wife and kids were also at the Bama presser where he made a public display of embracing them. This is not so odd

While I don't think Miles is going to CU, I think if any bigtime coach was seriously interested in that job they could lean on the CU administration and get them to change that as a stipulation for them taking the job.

I listened to a presser earlier in the year, when Miles interrupted his opening remarks to say something like, "Man, we have some good-looking women at this press-conference." I thought that was a bizarre, non-PC thing to say until I realized he had to be referencing his wife and daughter(s).
And remember when it was announced LSU would be playing for the BCS national championship in 2007? His wife was right up in the middle of the room watching the show with all the players.
If a football coach's wife wants to spend some time around her husband during the season, she can't be too picky about when or where it happens. I think you are reading too much into this.
