Stud coming back tells me all I need to know about next year's offense.

only way Stud should come back is if we're lining his big arse up at guard. or better yet DT.

Yes, I am aware of Crowton's history and present.

I assumed you all had figured out that my reasons for posting on this matter is that I have already made up my mind on the subject.

Crowton and Jefferson are not the answer to the future of LSU football if we are to have expectations beyond what we have seen the past two seasons.

I don't want his spread with Jefferson running it for damn sure. He doesn't even make good decisions running the ball, much less reading four and five wide. He struggled with the short passing game all season, but I must say he looked better at certain times versus Arkansas.

I saw red flags with Jarrett Lee last year, and I sure as hell hope I'm wrong about Jefferson. He is our best option right now, but it is my contention that the combination of Jefferson, Crowton, and Miles will go down in flames next year.

I expected 10-3 with a bowl win this season, but the lack of improvement on the offensive side, and eventual wear that put on the defensive side, does not bode well in my opinion.

We should win the bowl game, regardless.

JJ was just as good as Flynn statistically...

Doesn't mean much.

JJ's comp % is inflated because he completes all his passes within 10 yards.

Just watching him on the field he isnt nearly as good as Matt Flynn was as a SR. I dont care how similar the #'s are.

Lester Earl, you cant have logical thinking like that on the rant...Posi-Tigers that love JJ will never accept that...And for the record, crowton will be asked to move on...I dont care what is said on any board anywhere...Yes Miles has many of brain farts but I dont think he is that stupid to ask back the OC that has the 107th rank O in the country, new QB, or O-line or not....fricking pathetic to have that many weapons on O and not utilize them....end of story...Were getting a WR Coach an O-Line coach and A new OC...The play calling was horrid this year....Everyone knows it just pray we get someone good to get Garrett and Shepard ready....(like that last part...lol)

Actually JJ's YPA is better than Flynn's in 07. JJ is at 7.2 and Flynn was at 6.7

JJ's comp % would go down a few points if he threw away some of the balls he should(Instead of taking a sack)

i was aware of this, and thinking back, we've had a lot of long pass plays after the catch.

No doubt plays like Lafell's screen at the end of the Ole Miss game have helped JJ, but you can't say that Flynn was some bomb throwing master while JJ isn't.

i don't think i said this, I'm not even sure where the Flynn shite came from.

Flynn won a national title, and was a good leader who made the plays when he needed too.

I dont think if we put Jefferson on that 07 that we win the title that year.

the numbers are similar, but just watching Jefferson this year he was more bad than good.

If this comes to fruition and Miles agrees to keeping him another season, Miles should be held 100% responsible for it. If the offense fails like this year then both should be fired after the last game next year. No questions asked.

Lastly, I'm not throwing the players under the bus. In fact, I've said that I think we have good young talent (Faulk, Lowe, Shaw, Blackwell, Hurst, Lonergan).

If they don't get on the field, it does not matter how good the young guys are.
