David Moore of the Dallas Morning News broke the story. Nothing against Pelissero, but so many “journalists” such as Ian Rapoport and Florio have made their name by breaking news but being wrong half the time.
Per David Moore, McCarthy plans to assume play calling duties. I think that rules out someone like Kliff for now.

McCarthy is an excellent play caller. If next season is his make or break; I would call the plays if I was him.
