Could Fleck be a good backup option to Herman or Fedora?

If we miss out on Herman, what with the texas situation still playing out, maybe Fleck could be the young energetic up and coming type coach that could really ramp LSU back up to national prominence. I like that he has NFL experience (however minor) and is a known quality recruiter. If we want to go that route. Of course Fedora has a lot more experience at a higher level and could be the safer pick and still have plenty upside.

Of course there are the Fishers, Briles, Stoops, Spurriers, Petrinos, and Kellys of the coaching world. I hope we don't go that route. We need a home run hire.

Of course there is still the Coach O option which still has to play out also

Well, I would rather him than Charlie Strong or Ed Orgeron.

I wouldn't disqualify either of those two for consideration. Like them as much as Fisher. Stong is just a few years removed from turning Louisville from a crap football program to a upper crust program.

And don't write coach O off just yet, he is just getting started.

Fedora better be the back up option to the back option to the back option. I'd 1000 percent rather O than than that guy.

I really wouldn't mind with fedora. I watched him turn the southern miss program into a 12 win season and lead a ranked UNC team this year.

Aaaah...what? Crap program? They weren't winning like they should but they weren't crap. And finishing 15th and 13th is the upper crust?
