His record got worse year on year after winning the west in his first season. He squandered the #1 offense and a Heisman winning qb by fielding the worst defense in LSU history, he’s had the worst offense in LSU history this year, and I think he had LSU’s worst special teams in history somewhere mixed in there. What did him in was hitching his wagon to Matt House and Joe Sloan.

instead of looking at the number of wins, look at the number of losses per year...

There was no context on your title, of course we clicked on it. It was just ridiculous when we read your click bait.

He only reached 10 wins by adding a meaningless bowl game. He’s never had a 10-win regular season, and that’s what actually matters. We need a coach who can deliver double-digit wins before the postseason. I don’t care if the total gets padded by a bowl game that doesn’t matter

I give LSU credit for getting him out asap and acknowledging that he is the guy that EVERYONE IN THE COUNTRY thought he was while at ND. A decent coach, but not a championship coach.

BK wasn’t fired for his record. He was fired bc of many internal issues he had and caused. In his 4 years, LSU has fielded its worst defense, offense, and special teams in school history while having top recruiting and transfer portal classes. Nobody is mad that he’s gone, especially the players.

Consider that

A few things:

1- he wouldn’t even entertain it if that was still an issue. He also hated BK so probably gets it. They also all understand how the legal game works etc. I’m not saying it’s not a consideration but it’s not nearly as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be. He knows this is the game they play now.

2- These coaches don’t think like we do. They are mostly ego maniacs and are very confident (whether correct or not). That’s why all these people saying “why would he leave his comfortable job at Ole Miss?” Because he isn’t you staying in the same job for 40 years, making 80k and dying like you. He wants more- they all want more. Life is boring without a new challenge

Such a disingenuous take. He had one of the best offenses in CFB history and only won 10 games, and it was painfully obvious that this year was going to be a sub-.500 season under him.

Just because Georgia put up with mediocre Richt doesn’t mean that other schools have that same mindset

New Money...dont interrupt their alternate reality of 2xdaily' Pressers coming any minute' and 'Nothing is Fluid' baseless line of thinking. They are ignoring the fact that they are currently providing more drama to the rest of the country with their governor and athletics department cant even fire a guy correctly. They are also ignoring that BK and LK have the same agent, who by the way was called a criminal by the governor. Its a great show to watch but the ending is going to be legendary. Can't wait for them to trot some G5 coach to their podium when it is all said and done. Geaux Tigers! lol (Hey DZ23...I SEE YOU!)

Kiffin doesn’t view himself as BK.

He likely envisions what he could do at a place like LSU. I also don’t think he’s concerned about what is going on with BK.

BK sucks.

No they don’t, so stop it. You don’t even have the right facts. Neither did the governor.

Sexton does not care.

Bk was fired primarily because he was fielding a great team and was never around supposedly. No one liked him.

Maybe it tells you LSU is a more coveted place to coach.
