And this is the worst part, if AD is so short-sighted to hire Coach O after a run, you put LSU fanbase in a position of them wanting to possibly lose so the AD makes an educated decision.

That's ludicrous speed ridiculous.

shite, Hal Hunter would have been HC in 2000 instead of Saban if we're that stupid.

O is going to win out, so...

We're fricked. Did the learn nothing from last year?

Don't play with pro Fisher emotions, it is clear it is O's job to lose and something really drastic has to happen in the next 2 games to change that. Even people who read this site think so:

When Miles was fired there was a specific plan or there wasn't. If it's true that these remaining games matter in the big picture it's clear there was / is no plan.

Much like I have heard. LSU has no leadership.

similar to the Miles debacle last year

and we all saw how well that worked out for us and Miles, we planning on firing O 4 games in next year as well? oh well, "next man up" as they say.

I'm guessing you haven't heard anything new regarding Jimbo?

Yup

This is so absurd they put it in place the interim would have a shot at a destination job like LSU

Should never had mattered how we finished

Wtf LSU

I never want to root against LSU

Not even as anti Miles last season but this is really testing it

Only because we should explore better options

Jimbo is good and all, and is a safe albeit expensive hire for LSU, but I'd be more excited about seeing what Herman could do. I don't see Jimbo toppling Bama. Saban can stop Jimbos offense.

Honestly I'd be excited about Fedora or Fleck too.

I was going to wait and share my news at a later point, but it seems like now couldn't be a better time. Asked my source straight up today, "what is the progress on Jimbo, and why is O making such a late push?" He responded saying, "Jimbo is still heavily the favorite by a long shot and is still very close to signing, ignore the naysayers, but if O was to win out, it would certainly make it difficult for administration similar to the Miles debacle last year." Take this for what it's worth, but it seems like to me it's 75-25 Jimbo in the lead. Btw, I'm pulling for Jimbo more than ever. O is a great man, but isn't ready to be the face of a program in LSU. Everybody stay cool, it'll all reveal itself hopefully by next week. Geaux Tigers

My God! We have people thanking this guy for his inside info.

It's sad day and time when David Polluck(probably misspelled his name. Oh well) has to be a voice of reason for LSU. Booger was even somewhat agreeing with Finebum earlier. And all of our rival fans wanting us to hire O should be very telling. You hire a Fisher/Herman and they won't be liking that one damn bit.

I couldn't make myself root against LSU so that miles wpilf be fired, but I can promise you I will not be upset with a loss of it puts this bullshite to rest once and for all.

I may be overly optimistic, but I would still be very surprised if O got the job over jimbo or Herman.now, if neither of them are interested, I have no doubt he'd get it over guys like fedora or fleck. And that's still unfortunate.
