Can Saban win with Miles' players?

I haven't been on the board much today, but had to jump on when I saw the Miles news on the ticker...first thing I thought of was Saban jumping up and going back to Baton Rouge.

LSU would not lose a game for 4 years. 5 if we include RS.

It should. Saban has said several times leaving LSU was the biggest career mistake he's ever made.

Maybe we could agree to swap him back and forth every 5 years. Then, both teams would remain elite forever.

You add on to this every time you post it.

Please find me a link with this exact quote from Saban's mouth:

Obviously the benefits are:

1. We replace a NC Coach with a NC Coach
2. We replace a Top 5-10 recruiter with a Top 5-10 recruiter
3. The SEC would collectively shite themselves
4. The state of Alabama would become a black hole due to the meltdown that would happen in T-Town out of Anger and in Auburn out of sheer hilarity

He'll leave eventually. He won't leave for LSU. He'll be looking for a new challenge.

Then it'd be your turn to try and rationalize how he's really not that great of a coach. Tag, you're it.

I'd say "he can't coach with a lead"

Gee, that was easy.

Winning a NC with a good team is a challenge in itself. Heck, winning the SEC is a challenge. Don't forget Saban has only done that once in 4 years at Bama. At some point in his career he will get tired of the challenge of building a mediocre team into a champion.

Irony is that Saban was back if Miles left in 2007

He was asked if he had any regrets after the Miami situation and he replied his only regret was leaving LSU.
