Coach Carl Pelini, older brother to Bo Pelini, was fired from Florida Atlantic University in November 2013 for some alleged recreational cocaine use.

A decade later, it feels like the nation’s view on recreational cocaine use is evolving.

Coach Carl was building a solid foundation to turn things around at FAU before he was NARC-ed on by his jealous Defensive Line Coach.

And now the New Mexico Lobos enter the chat after parting ways with Coach Gonzales (who was a Lobos Alum) after four seasons.

Could it be time for New Mexico to look outside their family again and roll the dice with Coach Carl?

I think it is at least worth having the conversation with him. A decade is a long time ago.

I have heard of WAC I am not sure of spelling. It makes you feel like you are floating around. I was told people dip a joint into some kind of liquid and it just make it risky and dangerous. That was way back in the 80s. I am glad I stayed away from hard drugs. Not worth it.

Ten years ago, I would've thought recreational cocaine use would be as common as Jewish grandmothers in Boca Raton.

I was born in the wrong decade, apparently.
