he said on his podcast they might decide to let Luke take them through the first 3-4 years of probation and then go after a big name once the sanctions are gone. rebs, do yall think luke has any shot to get the job?

It's as good an idea as any i guess. He's Ole Miss through and through. I mean who else are you going to get for that job right now? It's not a great job even without sanctions.

Why wouldn't they? Any coach want to step in a mess and not get the proper clean up time and then get fired like Kiffin did at USC. Then Sark came in and had them rolling.

I dont know that they have a choice, no up and comer is going to go there and bury their career.

I would really see their best chance at stability to either keep Luke or go after a guy that can stabilize it that is at the end of their career. Someone like Miles or Solich.

It's not a bad idea. Too many high profile coaching jobs open this year.

Fans will melt but this is probably the best idea.

Yeah this is such crap. We are getting penalties already served.

It would be the wise thing for Ole Miss to do.

I have been saying this from
The beginning. If he kept them respectable that it would be there best move to keep him.

Why keep a coach who knew about the infractions?
