One UM coordinator at Maryland and an Ohio State DC at Rutgers.

Seems like a good hire, anything will be better than flood. Im looking forward to fresh blood in the program and not another retread.

He is terrible. Glad Bert ran him off.

He completely overhauled the Ohio State defense which led us to a national title.
I love his scheme, it's the way of the future to beat these spread teams.

He couldn't handle the SEC.
Did well with tOSU's talent and soft schedule.

wasn't he co-defensive coordinator? did the other guy not do anything?

I'm not impressed.
I'm hoping 'close' doesn't become 'official.'

Sucks to lose him but oh well. It's only Rutgers. They will never be relevant in Big Ten football.

Talk about a bargain bin hire. Big ten hires have sucked balls.

About to see if Urban Meyer can coach. Lose coordinators in back to back years, plus all the talent that's leaving this season.

Well that's just a stupid statement. We're about to find out if he can coach? Really?

We expected an Al Golden hire. He needs to recuit and keep NJ kids from leaving the state.

He was horrible at Arkansas. I wouldn't be excited if I were a Rutgers fan.

He excelled while at OSU. He did good while he was at Wisconsin. Maybe there's something wrong with Arky?

Doubt it. Our defense was ranked in the 90s with him. The next year with a new DC we were top 10.

Rutgers deserves it.
At the exact moment the program needed to step up and show it was ready to compete at the Big 10 level, they make a Big East move.
I'm very disappointed and discouraged by this move. I know the athletic department had more support than this, which means the University chose to make this bargain hire.
