Chip or Jimbo, which would you choose and why?

Either would make me happy, but I'm more for Chip Kelly. I think he would turn LSU into an absolute powerhouse with the right DC.
His offense would absolutely be successful in the SEC. If you are successful in the NFL, the SEC isn't going to scare you off.
It would be the perfect hire, but I would be more than happy with Jimbo. He's able to teach his QBs well from start to finish, and they have opportunities in the NFL. If you can coach up your QBs that well, you are a good coach.

Chip Kelly is the more exciting hire, IMO.
I cannot imagine what he could do with LSU's talent, or what he could achieve with LSU's talent in the coming years.

Jimbo. Would better fit immediately with the type of athletes we have on offense and build upon it with lights out recruiting. Kelly would be just as good long term but I think would need to get his athletes in here until the machine would be running full speed ahead.

Some people don't know this but he could actually run the defense. His first few coaching stops were on the defensive side of the ball.
To answer the OP, I'm going with Chip because he has played AND coached both sides of the ball. What's better is he let's his OC coach the offense (although he can definitely do this, too.) He's also not afraid to change or adapt.

His usage of DeMarco Murray was pretty atrocious.
Either Chip or Jimbo would be a home-run, but neither is perfect.

Chip, because he takes less and beats better teams... plus I never saw him get beat by GT when his team is superior in every friggan way
